We have just returned to Australia and this is our first opportunity to post. Gerrie Douglas-Scot performed our wedding ceremony outdoors in a beautiful glen near the Clachan of Campsie. Gerrie was so professional but at the same time personal and caring. A great time for us but made more so by our wonderful celebrant.
Thanks Gerrie |

I attended a Humanist wedding on 30th May 2010 on the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond. The Celebrant on that occasion was Joe Hughes and I just can’t say enough in his favour. Joe conducted the ceremony with decorum & sincerity but with a touch of humour, this put not only the Bride & Groom at ease but all of their congregation. Everyone that I spoke to at the wedding commented on Joe’s manor which made the day even more special.” What a way to start your married life together” Thanks Joe.

A huge thank you to Tim Maguire, who conducted our ceremony on the 25th of April at the Vu near Bathgate. We had a fantastic run up with Tim, and he really helped us remember all the special reasons why we love each other so much. Everyone commented on how personal and unique it was. Thank you again, and we will continue to cherish our special day forever. Rachel and Steve xxx

Many thanks to Andrea Curley for the service she carried out for my late Dad, Jimmy, on 19/03/2010. The time she spent with the family, learning about his life, was reflected in her wonderfully accurate, warm and humerous tribute. He would have laughed.
Thanks again. |

Everybody at our daughter's naming ceremony commented on Gerrie (Douglas-Scott)'s delivery and handling of the proceedings. She was first class and also showed remarkable patience in not strangling to death an elderly religious relative who wished to discuss the relative merits of Humanism and God. We would highly recommend Gerrie.

Huge Thank you to Peter MacDonald for conducting our wedding. It was a fantastic day made very personal and enjoyable by Peters attention to detail and approachable nature. Everyone who attended were impressed and had a great time.

I can't believe it has taken me so long to put pen to paper ! Gerrie Douglas-Scott carried out our wedding ceremony in October 2008 and I can't express hihgly enough what a wonderful ceremony we had.
Many of my guests had not been to a Humanist ceremony before and were delighted at our ceremony and how personal and special it had been made for us. Many thanks Gerrie for making our special extra special. Maria x |

Apologies first for the late entry. I would like to send the biggest and warmest thank you possible to Gerrie Douglas-Scott for the moving, funny and so so personal funeral service given for my late "Uncle George". The biggest accolade would be that he would have loved it could he have been there. She obviously has a calling and we would all be sadly lacking if she hadn't taken her chosen path. Thankyou again Gerrie for the small personal touches that were so important and precious to us. As always, take care and love to you and yours.
